Unhurried days under the midnight sun, exploring uninhabited islands and sailing beneath vertical bird cliffs. You’ll drop anchor in secluded coves and visit colourful fishing villages. To stretch your legs, simply row ashore and hike into the mountains – or relax and fish for your supper. The rugged shore-line and warming gulf-stream are home to thousands of sea birds and we always keep our eyes peeled for seals and whales.
SY Goxsheim has a beautiful traditional rig and is supremely cosy below decks, with a wood burning stove and even a sauna! Charles bought Goxsheim in 1999 and took her to Arctic Russia to be converted to sail. There he met Natasha at the ship yard and, like a true viking, swept her off her feet. The rest is plain sailing…

A balance of comfort and adventure: Charles is an accomplished chef as well as a friendly skipper and meals on board are delicious! Sailing the beautiful classic yacht Goxsheim is hard physical work, and great fun. There is plenty of hauling on ropes – but also time to snooze in the bowsprit safety net!
