Just back from great trip to Solli. Dreadful snow (or lack of), icy conditions and bitter cold, then melt and rain! Only 2 nights in huts; had to snow-shoe instead (and enjoyed that). But what a great time - it's the people and company as well as the place. Then Solli helps a lot; it's comfortable, warm, wonderfully situated, isolated on fjiord shore with astonishing views straight across to Lyngren Alps, but direct bus to door from Tromso - and the food's great. AND THE NORTHERN LIGHTS! Thanks Jim and Sarah for switching them on so spectacularly. It would be great to visit at lots of other times of the year; but also to go again at the same time, as the snow would likely be great then too.

It is nice idea to organize a art event, it will be a place that will provide lot of experience to aspiring artists. natural habitat is quite famous subject for people and wild life seems to be perfect idea to put canvas art print on walls.

Antarctic Peninsula – Basecamp

Thank you for another amazing trip! It was everything I expect from one of your trips and a lot more. Brilliantly organised and the advice on the different types of expeditions was invaluable. Each day seemed better than the one before with more wildlife and more dramatic and breathtaking scenery.

Hut to Hut ski touring in Arctic Norway: I can’t believe I’m back but what a trip. Jim’s ski lessons were fab, Sarah’s menu for the week light weight and so tasty, I don’t eat that well at home. I learnt how to build a snowhole, skied in fresh powder and even managed to catch the Annual Sami Reindeer Racing. Great trip, well worth the money. Thank you so much.

Hut to Hut ski touring in Arctic Norway: Having packed my bag for the fourth time now I’m nearly ready to go!! Very excited for my first trip to a proper cold place and i’ll be within the Arctic circle!! Looking forward to meeting Lesley and Justine and my first cross country ski lessons!

Hut to Hut ski touring in Arctic Norway: Getting really excited about my impending trip ski touring with The Polar People in Arctic Norway. Sarah and Jim have been full of really helpful advice, suggesting activities and always there if I have a last minute question. I have no doubt I’m going to have a great time. Now I’m packing and getting sooooo excited I can hardly contain myself.
