Sailing: Greenland & Iceland

SAILING in GREENLAND & ICELAND  with Siggi and Runar

Borea AdventuresIn the summer of 2005, en-route to Greenland, the legendary sailor Robin Knox-Johnston sailed into Ísafjörður in Iceland with his friend Chris Bonnington. They got chatting to a couple of local boys on the quay and, over some chicken curry and beers onboard, Siggi and Runar fulfilled a lifelong dream and bought the yacht!   The 60 foot sloop ‘Aurora’ has proved ideal for exploring East GreenlandJan Mayen and for ‘Sailboat kayaking’ , wildlife voyages and Sail and Ski trips (among others) in the remote NW Fjords of Iceland.
