via ST KILDA, FAROE ISLANDS & JAN MAYEN
An amazing voyage of discovery, setting sail to explore the island gems of the North Atlantic. A 10-day whale safari with chances of seeing minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises and orcas.
The islands of St Kilda, the Faroes and Jan Mayen are home to thousands of sea birds and steeped in the history of man’s struggle at the edge of the Arctic world.
Sailing north with the migrating birds, we follow the edge of the frozen ocean to North Spitsbergen - looking for Polar Bears, walrus, arctic foxes and reindeer.

| | SPITSBERGEN: TO THE NORTH!
Gorgeous fjords, glaciers, beautiful anchorages - and a very good chance of seeing Polar Bears! The crew are experts at seeking out the wild places, where cruise ships can't reach and silence reigns. The itinerary is flexible to take advantage of the weather conditions, sea ice and wildlife. There is plenty of opportunity for hiking ashore to examine the flora and fauna, fossils and historical sites - or just to revel in the wonderful midnight sun.
