| | HUT-TO-HUT SKI TOURING: AN INTRODUCTION BACKCOUNTRY SKI TOURING IN ARCTIC NORWAY This is an introduction to off-track ski touring, beginning with one day on tracks, to get our skiing legs working. We’ll then embark on a five-day journey through the mountains. As our skills improve and our back-packs become lighter, we’ll ski further and further each day.
Our nights will be spent in cosy wooden mountain cabins – no traffic or street lights just a wood-burning stove, a sky full of stars and hopefully the Northern Lights.
DATES 2011: Early April TBC TINY GROUP: Minimum 2, Maximum 4. IDEAL FOR YOU IF: - You enjoy cross-country skiing in tracks and would like to taste more of the wilderness. - You’ve tried back-country ski touring before but your skills are a bit rusty. - You are an Alpine skier, familiar with carrying a back-pack and want to try freeing your heels.

DATES 2011: April is the best time to go. We can fit the dates to suit you - call us! LEVEL: Intermediate off-track nordic ski touring over undulating terrain. 13 - 34km per day.
