| | THE FLATEY HOTEL This family-run boutique hotel is the best place to savour Iceland’s warm welcome and enjoy delicious food, based on local traditions.
The hotel buildings were once the village warehouses, flanking the market square. They and have been tastefully converted and still form the heart of the village - Think painted wooden houses, candles and romantic, cosy rooms.

| | SAIL & SKI in ICELAND These trips are all about skiing or snowshoeing in the beautiful Hornstrandir Nature Reserve in the far north-west of Iceland. We will ski between the remote fjords, anchoring in a different spot every night.
Many of the mountains and ridges have never been skied before so don't expect to queue before cruising down the mountain of your choice! There are many different slopes and we will plan our routes to fit with guests abilities and interests.

LEVEL: Moderate to challenging. You must be a confident randonnee or alpine ski tourer and fit enough for full days in the mountains. Some tours may be suitable for back-country nordic skiers.
FANCY a SKI MARATHON? There is an opportunity after our trip 25th - 29th April to take part in the Fossavatn ski marathon -by far the biggest ski race in Iceland.

| | SUMMER SAIL in ICELAND + KAYAK, HIKE & WILDLIFE This holiday is the best of all possible worlds. Based from the expedition yacht Aurora, we’ll sail along the coast and drop anchor to explore by kayak and on foot: playing along the coast, watching the wildlife and even a glacier walk on Drangajokull Glacier.
