| | JOURNEY FROM SEATTLE TO KETCHIKAN
A spectacular journey of discovery through the protected waters of British Columbia and The Great Bear Rain Forest. These cold Pacific waters are home to the world’s greatest concentration of orcas, which gather here in large pods in summer to gorge on returning salmon but thats not all... porpoises, seals and miles of virgin forest.
En-route there is ample time for fishing, crabbing and exploring the wonderful shorelines - even a luxurious soak in remote hot springs. Each evening we’ll anchor in another peaceful and picturesque harbour…

Reurn journey Ketchikan to Seattle 2nd - 11th September.
LEVEL: No experience necessary but moderate fitness required to row boats, hike etc.

See both Black & Brown Bears, moor up in the historic frontier towns of Petersburg and Wrangell and cruise the feeding grounds of the Humpback Whale where we sometimes encounter as many as 300 of these gentle giants!
Explore Tracy Arm fjord with two tidewater glaciers and visit a Stellar Sea Lion colony to watch these giants playing.
