Well we had a brilliant time!
It all started rather bizarrely, watching reindeer races down the main street in Tromso before we set off into the mountains.
Ski touring from Hut to Hut with great snow and cosy huts at the end of each day. The weather ranged from sparkly clear sunshine to a complete white-out (well Jen did say she wanted to experience a ‘goggles day’).
While skiers in the Alps were struggling without snow, we were miles from crowded ski lifts with masses of powdery white stuff to play in (v. smug)… digging a snow hole just for fun and marvelling at some pretty stupendous Northern Lights.
So – anybody want to join us next year?
